I had to go photograph the sweetest couple today celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary. Bob and Roberta Burkett met as children and said they new right away they would be together forever. Even after 60 years of marriage they were very flirty with each other, Roberta even gave Bob’s bum a little pat as we were changing locations! 🙂 It is really wonderful- hopeful actually- to see people so in love after all that time. I love this photo of them. I feel like I really captured their story. I had been struggling to capture the right image, Roberta dropped her guard rested her head on Bob’s chest and bingo. I was done.
