Photos from Thailand and Wanderlust | Travel Tuesdays

I don’t have some amazing story or adventure to tell about traveling in Thailand. It was another beautiful place to visit full of stunning beaches, incredible scuba diving, rock climbing, kayaking and culture. I have however been thinking a lot about my seemingly never-ending need to wander. I was never much of a student after high school. I would squirm in my seat during lectures in college feeling like life was passing me by. The overwhelming need to experience, to see, to touch, to taste, to smell, would consume my thoughts daily. Books were never enough. Seeing images on TV or in magazines were never enough. I’ve always felt like my tiny life is so short and every day seems more and more fleeting that I want to try and absorb as much of this whole great, big world as possible! I thought if I traveled enough I would get it out of my system but it has had the opposite effect on me. The more I see, the more I do, the more I want to continue to travel. I guess they don’t call it the travel bug for nothing. But I want it all. I do not understand settling, I do not do things half heartidly and I want all of life’s experiences and I guess that includes planting roots too. It is always been a conflict for me. Roots or wings? Roots or wings? I crave them both.
