Cuba Street Photography | Family travels

I’ve been wanting to share some of the Cuba street photography I made and memories of our trip we took back in 2018. It’s been too long since I have written a blog post. Husband, babies, life, busy, busy, busy…

Layers, colors, moments and oh, that beautiful light! Flowers being delivered by bike in Old Town Havana, boys playing soccer with an impossibly tattered ball, an old woman with flowers in her hair chomping on an unlit cigar. The unreal golden light of the historic, colonial town of Trinidad, which lays 7 short miles from the pristine, uncrowded beaches of Playa Maria Aguilar. Watching the horse-drawn carriages click-clack down the streets from the window of our cozy AirBnB. Colorful vintage cars (of course!), bikes, waterfalls, and school children so alive with beautiful innocence and uninterest in me and my snooping camera.

Visiting Cuba had always been a dream of mine and getting to travel there with my family, hubby, 13-month-old son, and another son growing in my belly, was an experience I will never forget. The Cuban people are kind, generous and welcoming and we would certainly go back to explore more of this beautiful country in a heartbeat.
