This photo was from an assignment for the Salem News back in 2005. I visited this Danvers, Massachusetts senior living home on Valentine’s Day and saw this sweet little moment happen. The couple had been married for sixty-years and his wife had Alzheimer’s. She was having a good day. I hope they have had many more special Valentine’s Days together.
